The Gift of Seeing Differently

Today reminded me just how deeply connected everything truly is.

Earlier today, I spent time with someone who reminded me just how precious our moments together truly are.

Later, I found myself quietly watching one of my favourite birds - a vulture.

Many people see vultures as symbols of death. I’ve always seen them differently.

To me, they are among nature’s greatest caretakers. They remind us that nothing is wasted. Life becomes death, death nourishes life, and the great wheel continues to turn.

As if the day wasn’t already full of quiet gifts, I also found a crow feather along my walk. Another gift from one of my favorite birds. Both crows and vultures are often misunderstood, yet both have an essential place in the world around us.

Today felt like a gentle reminder to cherish those who walk beside us, to trust in natures wisdom, and to remember that we are all a part of something much greater than ourselves.

May we love while we can.

May we be present while we can.

And may we never forget that we are all connected.
