The Wisdom of Getting Lost

Sometimes we get a little lost along the way.

We take a turn we didn’t plan, wander somewhere we never intended to go, and suddenly find ourselves in a place that wasn’t on the map.

Maybe we panic. Maybe we wonder how the hell we got there.

But sometimes, being lost is how we discover something we never would have found if we’d stayed on the path.

This morning, a robin followed me into the temple.

I’m pretty sure it didn’t plan on being here. 😂

But here it is, wandering around, exploring, and finding its own way back out.

And right now, I’m sitting here listening to that little bird chirp along with the radio, and thinking about how unexpectedly beautiful some moments can be.

Maybe that’s the lesson.

Not every wrong turn is a mistake. Sometimes it’s simply another part of the journey.

You don’t always have to know exactly where you’re going.

Sometimes you just have to trust that you’ll find your way—and enjoy the unexpected moments along the way.💜
